I love podcasting. It’s something I’ve been doing for some years now and likely will continue well into the future.
Here are all the podcasts I’ve appeared on (that I can remember):
Podcasts I’ve hosted / co-hosted
The Point After (Weekly, 2021 – Present)
Along with two local friends, Marshall and Ian, I discuss and debate everything pertaining to professional American football on a weekly basis. We make predictions about which teams will win each week and keep a running score with a prize at the end of the season for whoever had the most correct picks.
Get Options (Weekly, 2017 – Present)
My co-host Adam Silver and I created this show to bring a little more fun and levity to the WordPress podcasting scene. We dispense a blend of serious and satirical advice in response to listener questions while also offering our takes on the latest industry news. We occasionally have special guests, share humorous original songs, and play games.
Digging Deeper (Weekly, 2020 – Present)
No link here because this is actually a private podcast. Digging Deeper is an interview / story time show in which I capture and share tales and anecdotes from members of my own family and share it with a small audience. I do the interviewing and post production as well as creating all the original bumpers and intro/outro songs.
Selling Plugins (Monthly, 2017 – 2019)
Brian Hogg and I co-hosted this live webinar which was also shipped as a podcast for a couple years, somewhat inconsistently. We generally had a pretty decent live audience asking questions in the chat which made this a unique format for me.
WP Round Table (Weekly, 2014 – 2019)
Originally both a podcast and a video web series, this WordPress community focused interview show was my first foray into podcasting. I had a revolving door of co-hosts for the first few years and then did a couple years solo before calling it quits and handing over the brand to a friend of mine. Through this project I met so many different amazing people and learned a lot about the art of interviewing.

My setup
I record everything in my home office. To ensure that my household keeps the noise down and leaves me undisturbed, I rigged an on air light and announcement. My tech stack includes:
- Audio Technica ATR 2100 microphone
- Logitech 1080p webcam
- MacBook Pro
- Garage Band
Nothing fancy right now but it’s working well enough. I plan to experiment with some upgrades in the near future.
